Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at k9-webdesign.com or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Description of Services

K9 Web Design provides professional website design, hosting, and maintenance services specifically for pet businesses, including dog groomers, dog walkers, and pet sitters. Our services include:

• Custom website design and development
• Website hosting on fast, secure servers
• SSL certificates for secure browsing
• Search engine optimisation (SEO) and schema markup
• Ongoing website maintenance and performance monitoring
• Online booking systems (Professional and Growth plans)
• Blog and content management (Growth plan)

Pricing and Payment

Our services are provided on a monthly subscription basis. Prices are displayed in your selected currency (GBP, USD, or EUR). All subscriptions are billed in the currency selected at checkout. Current pricing is displayed on our pricing page.

Your first month is free on all plans. After the free period, your chosen payment method will be charged monthly. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You are responsible for keeping your payment method current and valid.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' written notice. Any price changes will not affect your current billing period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees, exit fees, or minimum contract periods. Upon cancellation:

• Your service will continue until the end of your current billing period
• Your website will remain live until the end of your paid period
• After 30 days from the end of your billing period, your website will be taken offline
• If you own a domain name, we will assist with transferring it to you or your new provider
• You retain ownership of all content and photographs you provided for your website
• We will provide a copy of your content upon request within 60 days of cancellation

Our Obligations

We commit to providing a reliable, professional service. Our obligations include:

• Keeping your website running, secure, and up to date
• Responding to support requests in a timely manner
• Monitoring your website's performance and addressing issues proactively
• Maintaining regular backups of your website
• Notifying you of any planned maintenance that may affect your website

Client Obligations

To enable us to provide our services effectively, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date business information, content, and photographs for your website
• Respond to our communications within a reasonable timeframe
• Keep your payment method current and valid
• Ensure that all content you provide is your own or that you have the right to use it
• Not use your website for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual Property

The website design, code, and underlying technology remain the intellectual property of K9 Web Design. You are granted a licence to use the website design for the duration of your active subscription.

All content you provide — including text, photographs, logos, and business information — remains your property. You grant us a licence to use this content solely for the purpose of building and maintaining your website.

Limitation of Liability

K9 Web Design will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

While we strive for maximum uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not responsible for losses caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to internet outages, hardware failures at third-party providers, or force majeure events.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
